Congratulations to the Tiverton High School Mock Trial Team for remaining undefeated in the regular season of the Rhode Island Mock Trial Tournament. THS represented the defendant and prevailed over Middletown High School, the prosecution, before the Honorable Ed Newman. THS advances to the playoffs later this month.


The Tiverton School Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 9th has been canceled.
All Agenda items have been moved to the next meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, January 23rd.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Feinstein Foundation, Fort Barton School now has two communication stations on the playground so that children can connect with one another whether inside or out.
As Rosemary Crossley said, "Not being able to speak is not the same as not having anything to say." Fort Barton is proud to welcome and educate learners with a variety of strengths, communication modes and support needs.

There was a Tiger Sighting at Ranger School this morning as their mascot Walt said good morning to the students and staff as they headed out to The Holiday Concert at THS!

Today Pocasset School was visited by the Grinch! The Grinch posed for pictures with all the students and even Blue in our gym.
Many thanks today to the Pocasset PTO and Town Councilor David Paull for a great, fun and festive morning at Pocasset!


The basketball game between the Police and Fire departments will take place in the Tiverton Highschool's Gymnasium on April 7th @ 3pm.

Congratulations to the Tiverton High School Mock Trial Team, as they improved their record to 3-0 with another Rhode Island Mock Trial Tournament victory. The Honorable Judge Procaccini presided over the Rhode Island Superior Court trial in which THS represented the prosecution and defeated St. Mary Academy - Bay View, the defense.

This week, Rhode Island Historical Society presenters Michelle Walker and Sally Meyer shared historical research strategies with Tiverton Middle School 6th graders. The students will apply these methods to develop their National History Day projects in social studies.


Tiverton Middle School seventh-grader Lily Brawner was a guest speaker at the Veteran's Day Ceremony held in Bristol. Lily is the 2023 Rhode Island Patriot's Pen Essay Contest winner. She read her award-winning essay to the veterans and government officials in attendance. Her speech honored the brave men and women who served our country.


Congratulations to the Tiverton High School Mock Trial Team on winning their second trial competition of the season! THS represented the defense and defeated Cranston East, which represented the prosecution.


THS Quarter 1 Report Cards are now available online.


On Monday, November 20th and Tuesday, November 21st all Tiverton Public Schools will hold Parent/Teacher Conferences.
